Hyundai Motor India is all set to launch the new 2022 Venue facelift in the Indian market. The SUV first made its Indian debut in 2019 and has never since then been one of the best-selling SUVs in the segment. The Venue is the most affordable SUV in the brand’s line-up and was the first car in the segment to be offered with connected car technology and iMT gearbox (Intelligent Manual Transmission). The new facelift model of the SUV will be offered with a long list of changes and updated colour options. Here is everything that we know so far about the upcoming new Hyundai Venue 2022 in the Indian market.
Hyundai Venue Facelift Colour Options
The new Hyundai Venue facelift is expected to be offered in seven exterior colour options, including a dual-tone version –
- Typhoon Silver,
- Polar White
- Phantom Black
- Denim Blue
- Titan Grey
- Fiery Red
- Fiery Red Dual-Tone
The dual-tone colour shade will get a contrasting black finish on the roof. It is worth noting the brand is now offering new colour shades with the Venue including the new Phantom Black shade.

Hyundai Venue Facelift Variants
Five variants of the new 2022 Venue facelift will be on offer for the buyers to choose from:

2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift Features
Just like earlier, the Hyundai Venue will continue to be an extremely feature-rich offering n the segment and will be offered with features like projector headlights, LED tail lights, a fully digital instrument cluster, first in segment Home-To-Car (H2C) with Alexa and Google Assistant infotainment system. Other features like a 2-step reclining function for rear seats, 60+ connected car tech features with Hyundai Bluelink App, three drive modes, wireless charging, etc. New machine-finished R-16 wheels will also be offered on the higher-spec variants of the venue.

Engine and Transmission
The Hyundai Venue will be offered with similar powertrain options as seen on the current iterations of the SUV. These include a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol motor, a 1.0L tGDI turbo petol motor, and a 1.5-L Turbo diesel engine. The peak power and torque output delivered by the 1.2L NA engine stands at 83 hp and 114 Nm respectively while it comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.0L turbo petrol on the other hand churns out 120 hp and 172 Nm of maximum torque. This engine is available either with a 6-speed intelligent manual gearbox or with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The 1.5L oil burner is claimed to deliver 100 hp and 240 Nm of peak torque. This engine is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Price And Features
The current iteration of the Hyundai Venue in India is priced from Rs 7.11 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant. The range-topping on the other hand is priced at Rs 11.83 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new facelift model is expected to be slightly more expensive and we are expecting the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift price in India to start from Rs 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This compact SUV in India takes on the rivals like the Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonnet, upcoming Maruti Brezza facelift, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Nissan Magnite, and the Renault Kiger.
