Interiors

The overall dashboard layout too has been retained but it does get some updates to give it a fresher touch. For starters, the connected screen layout now features a curved screen similar to what we also get with the EV6 electric car. The screen size remains unchanged at 10.25 inches. Other changes include new switches for the auto climate control unit, a rotary dial type gear shifter, and the addition of some new features that will be available as standard on the higher trims. The seats might also get a new upholstery design while we also expect the Kia to offer an updated colour combination inside the cabin. In all, the Kia Seltos will continue to be offered as a comfortable, feature-rich, and premium SUV that will give strong competition to the rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, MG Astor, etc.

Powertrain Options

The Kia Seltos facelift is expected to get the same engine options that are currently being offered with the present iteration of the SUV. These include a 1.5-L NA petrol engine, 1.4-L turbo petrol, and a 1.5-L turbo diesel. The gearbox options include a six-speed manual, a 7-speed DCT and a six-speed torque converter automatic unit depending on the engine the buyers opt for. It is also worth noting that the Seltos facelift might also be offered with a diesel iMT version, making it the only diesel SUV to be offered with an iMT gearbox option. Select reports also suggest that Kia might also be working on a CNG iteration of the Kia Seltos. More details however are yet to be known.
