Powertrain And Performance

Powering the new Jawa 42 will be the same 334 cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that we also see with other Jawa bikes. This engine churns out 30.64 hp and 32.64 Nm of maximum torque while it comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. We also see new exhaust tips with a touch of chrome that differentiates it from an all-blacked-out exhaust that we get with the Perak.

Underpinnings

The new Jawa 42 Bobber is based on a tubular double-cradle frame and features telescopic fork suspension at the front and a seven-step adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear. The braking setup consists of 280 mm discs at the front and 240 mm discs at the rear. It comes paired to dual-channel ABS and offers strong braking performance. Furthermore, it gets a 750 mm seat height while the fuel tank capacity stands at 14 litres.

Colours And Design

Just like the Perak, the Jawa 42 also features a low-slung, single-scooped-out seat and chopped fenders. It also gets a new fuel tank design, new tank pads and chrome tips for the exhaust. Furthermore, it also gets round headlights and spoke wheels to complement its retro styling. The bike is being offered in three colour shades – Mystic Copper, Moonstone White, and Jasper Red.
