The BMW X1’s second generation facelift (codenamed F48) was released in India on March 5, 2020. BMW is developing a third-generation X1, which is expected to be unveiled globally this year.
The X1 incorporates BMW’s signature design philosophy, which also applies to the rest of the X series SUVs. It has a typical kidney grille that is adorned with a glossy chrome finish. It also has all-LED headlights, fog lights, and taillights. Furthermore, BMW offers 17-inch alloy wheels in three variants, with the Tech Edition receiving 18-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the BMW X1 features Sensatec synthetic leather upholstery for the seats, which are available in Oyster/Black or all-Black. There is also an analogue instrument cluster with a TFT multimedia display. The X1 comes with a variety of infotainment touchscreen units ranging in size from 6.5-inch to 8.8-inch to 10.25-inch, depending on the variant.
