BYD Auto Atto 3 Extended Range

Built and priced to take on the likes of Hyundai Kona, MG ZS EV and BYD E6 – the newly-launched BYD (Build Your Own Dreams) Atto 3 is the company’s second-model in India. Talking about its highlights, the new Atto 3 features LED headlights with wing-shaped DRLs, 18-inch alloy wheels, a larger 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof and leather upholstery. The BYD Atto 3 gets a front-axle-mounted motor which produces 201bhp and 310Nm of torque, enough to achieve 0-100km/h in 7.3 seconds. Furthermore, the new crossover benefits from a 60.48kWh battery pack, which gets a claimed driving range of 521km and regenerative braking. The battery can be topped in 10 hours using a regular AC charger and in 50 minutes using a 80kW DC fast charger. BYD offers a warranty for 6-years or 1.5 lakh kilometres for the car and a 8-year or 1.6 lakh kilometre warranty for the battery.
