The Citroen C3 was recently launched in the Indian market and is positioned as the most affordable car in the brand’s line-up and offers a strong package for buyers looking for a comfortable and spacious hatchback in the country. The C3 takes on the rivals like the Maruti Ignis, Tata Punch and other compact SUVs and was launched in the country at a starting price of Rs 5.71 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The brand however recently hiked the Citroen C3 price in the country and the C3 is now priced from Rs 5.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Citroen C3 Price Hike
For starters, the new Citroen C3 is priced from Rs 5.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is offered in three trim options for the buyers – Live, Feel, and Turbo Feel. While the Live and Feel variants received a price hike of Rs 17,000, the Turbo Feel on the other hand is now expensive by Rs 9,000. The price hike comes due to the supply chain bottlenecks caused by the shortage of semiconductor chips and the rising costs of raw materials. Mentioned below is a detailed price list –

The Citroen C3 is offered with two petrol engine options – 1.2L NA and 1.2L turbocharged. The 1.2L NA three-cylinder petrol engine churns out a peak power output of 82 bhp while the 1.2L three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine delivers a peak power output of 110 hp. While the NA petrol engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the turbocharged unit on the other hand is offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The brand is also expected to soon launch an automatic variant of the C3 in the next few months.
Citroen is also expected to launch a new seven-seater SUV in the Indian market that will be based on the C3. This new seven-seater SUV will be based on the brand’s C-Cubed programme and will offer a premium and comfortable cabin. It will also boast a long list of features like a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument console, central locking, and more. More details will be shared by the brand soon.
