The price of the bike starts from Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant and is one of the strongest rivals in the segment. Powering the new Kawasaki W175 is a single-cylinder 177cc air-cooled petrol engine that churns out 12.8 bhp and a peak torque output of 13.2 Nm. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and offers impressive performance and refinement levels. The TVS Ronin on the other hand is offered with a larger and more powerful 226 cc petrol engine that delivers a peak power and torque output of 20 bhp and 20 Nm respectively.

The Royal Enfield Hunter was also launched in the Indian market a few weeks ago and boasts the most powerful engine in the segment. This single-cylinder 349 cc petrol motor had a claimed peak power and torque output of 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm respectively while it comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and is one of the most fun-to-drive motors in the market. We see the same engine being offered with other Royal Enfield bikes in the country. The Yamaha FZ-X on the other hand is the least powerful bike in the segment and is only offered with a 149 cc single-cylinder petrol engine with a rated power and torque output of 12.2 bhp and 13.3 Nm respectively.
