The Maruti Alto K10 was recently launched in the country and boasts a new exterior design, refreshed cabin, and updated powertrain options for buyers. The K10 is one of the most affordable cars in the Indian market and is a great choice for anyone looking for a compact and reliable family car. The Indian carmaker recently launched the new Alto K10 CNG in India at a starting price of Rs 5.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Powertrain Details

The new Maruti Alto K10 CNG will be powered by a Next-Gen K-Series 1.0L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that churns out a peak power output of 55.56 PS and a maximum torque output of 82.1 Nm. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and is offered with a dual-interdependent ECU setup. It also offers impressive refinement levels and long-term reliability.

Claimed Fuel Economy Figures

The Indian carmaker boasts a claimed fuel economy of 33.85 km/kg for the new Alto K10 CNG in India, thus making it one of the most fuel efficient CNG cars in the market. The Alto K10 CNG will give strong competition to the rivals like the Santro CNG and the Tata Tiago CNG in the market right now.

Price

The new Alto K10 CNG will only be available in a single trim option – VXI S-CNG. This version of the K10 CNG is priced at Rs 5.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In the Indian market, it will be sold alongside 12 other S-CNG models like Alto, SPresso, WagonR, Eeco, Celerio, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, Baleno, XL6, Super Carry and Tour S CNG.

Reworked Suspension

To accommodate the additional weight of the factory-fitted CNG kit, the Alto K10 CNG is offered with a reworked suspension setup that has been calibrated to the updated powertrain to enhance ride quality, comfort, and safety. Maruti Suzuki’s Research & Development facility conducts rigorous testing of its factoryfitted SCNG cars to deliver unmatched safety, performance, durability, and fuel efficiency.

Features

Multiple features are being offered with the new Alto K10 CNG including body-coloured bumpers and outside door handles, full wheel covers, manual ac, front power windows, internally adjustable ORVMs, a two-speaker music system, and dual front airbags.
