QJMotor is a sister brand to Benelli and will soon make its Indian debut with the launch of four new bikes in the 250 cc to 500 cc segment
Many recent reports suggest that QJMotor will soon be making its Indian debut with four new motorcycles that will take on various rivals in the 250 cc to 500 cc segment. For those wondering, QJMotor is a sister brand to Benelli and is owned by the China-based Qianjiang Group. From what we know so far, the brand is expected to launch two retro-style models, a naked roadster, and a lightweight roadster. Here are all the details you should know about the upcoming QJMotor bikes in India.
QJMotor SRC 500
The QJMotor SRC 500 (QJ500-8A) might remind you of the Benelli Imperiale 400 but is powered by a more powerful and larger 480 cc engine that churns out a peak power output of 25.8 hp. The maximum torque however on the other stands at either 36 Nm or 40 Nm. The bike rides on wire-spoke wheels, round headlamps, round chrome rearview mirrors, and a wide single-piece seat. In all, in addition to a powerful powertrain, the bike also boasts a strong road presence.

QJMotor SRK 400
The QJMotors will be positioned as a streetfighter in India and will take on the rivals like the KTM 390 Duke. This bike is powered by a 400 cc parallel-twin petrol engine that churns out a peak power output of 41.5 hp while the maximum torque stands at 37 Nm. It is based on a trellis frame which is suspended on an upside-down suspension setup at the front and a mono-shock rear suspension. The braking duties are likely to be handled by twin 260 mm disc brakes at the front and a single-disc brake setup at the rear. The weight of the bike stands at around 186 kg.

QJMotor SRC 250
To start with, the new SRC 500 will be positioned as a retro motorcycle in the brand’s line-up and is likely to be powered by a 249 cc twin-cylinder petrol engine that churns out a humble power output of 17.7 hp while the maximum torque, on the other hand, stands at 16.5 Nm. More details will soon be shared by the brand ahead of its debut in the Indian market.

QJMotor SRV 300
The new QJMotor SRV 300 will be a lightweight roadster in the brand’s Indian portfolio and traces back a strong Harley-Davidson connection. It is powered by a Harley-sourced V-twin engine that churns out a peak power and torque output of 30.7 bhp and 26 Nm respectively. On the design front, it gets a typical bobber-type styling dominated by chopped fenders, a low-slung stance, a new squared-off teardrop shape and round headlights. It also gets smart alloy wheels, USD forks at the front, and twin shockers at the rear.
