Tata Motors India and Maruti Suzuki India are offering the highest discounts among the cars brands in the country
Almost all the car manufacturers in the country have now announced the latest offers and discounts in the country across their car, SUV, and sedan line-ups in the market. The automotive market in the country is now springing back into action and recently recorded the highest-ever sales figure in India last month. The trend is expected to continue and many brands are offering strong and lucrative discount offers to attract buyers. Having said this, here is a list of the highest discounts that are being offered in India for buyers looking to buy a new car soon.
Highest Cars Discounts In India
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
Up To Rs 30,000 off
The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz takes on the rivals like the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, VW Virtus, and the Skoda Slavia in the country. It is offered with a single powertrain option and is currently one of the best-selling sedans in the country. The Indian carmaker is currently offering discounts up to Rs 30,000 on the new Ciaz that include a Rs 25,000 worth of exchange bonus and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000. These discounts are valid for both the manual as well as the automatic gearbox options. The sedan is sold via the brand’s Nexa outlet and is expected to soon receive a major update.

Honda City Gen 5
Up To Rs 37,900
The new Honda City 5th-gen is currently one of the most comfortable, spacious, and feature-rich sedans in the country The Japanese carmaker is offering it with petrol as well as diesel engine options while the buyers can also opt for a fuel-efficient and cheap-to-run strong hybrid petrol powertrain. The brand is currently offering Rs 37,900 worth of discounts on the new Honda City 5th-gen that includes up to Rs 10,000 cash discounts, a loyalty bonus worth Rs 5,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000 for eligible buyers. In addition to this, the buyers will also get an exchange bonus of Rs 7,000 along with Rs 10,000 discount on exchange. No discounts are being offered with the new Honda City Hybrid.

Tata Tiago iCNG
Up To Rs 40,000
The Tata Tiago iCNG is currently not only the most affordable CNG car in India but also boasts a strong build quality and segment-leading safety crash test results. The Tiago CNG takes on the rials like the Maruti WagonR CNG, Maruti Celerio CNG, Maruti Swift CNG, and the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG. The Indian carmaker is currently offering discounts up to Rs 40,000 with the new Tiago iCNG in India. These include cash discounts worth Rs 25,000 while the buyers will also get exchange benefits worth Rs 15,000. The car is powered by a 1.2L bi-fuel iCNG engine that churns out a peak power and torque output of 73 hp and 95 Nm in CNG mode. It also gets 86 hp and 113 Nm of peak torque in the petrol-only mode.

Maruti Suzuki Swift
Up to Rs 47,000
The new Swift is offered with maximum discounts worth Rs 47,000 on its AMT version which includes cash discounts worth Rs 25,000, corporate discounts worth Rs 7,000 and an exchange bonus worth Rs 15,000. The manual variants on the other hand are only offered with discounts up to Rs 30,000. The hatchback takes on the rivals like the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and is powered by a 90 hp 1.2L DualJet petrol engine that can be had with both manual as well as automatic gearbox options. The Swift is also offered with a CNG powertrain but no discounts are being offered on the CNG variants.

Renault Triber
Up To Rs 50,000
The Renault Triber is currently the most affordable and the only sub-4m MPV in the Indian market today and is currently being offered with up to Rs 50,000 worth of discounts. The Triber is powered by a 1.0L petrol engine that churns out a peak power output of 72 hp. It can be had with either a 5-speed manual or AMT transmission option. The discounts consist of Rs 15,000 worth of cash discounts, Rs 25,000 worth of exchange benefits, and Rs 10,000 worth of corporate discounts. The Triber Limited Edition gets discounts worth up to Rs 45,000.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Up To Rs 52,000
The Swift Dzire is the most affordable sedan in the brand’s line-up and takes on the rivals like the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor. The Indian carmaker is offering discounts up to Rs 52,000 that include Rs 35,000 worth of cash discounts, Rs 7,000 worth of corporate discounts and exchange bonuses worth Rs 10,000. The manual variants however are only offered with discounts worth Rs 17,000. The Dzire also gets the same 1.2L petrol powertrain with a maximum power output of 90 hp. Needless to say, the new Dzire can be had either with a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki S Presso
Up to Rs 56,000
The Maruti S-Presso is one of the most affordable cars in India and is offered with a 1.0L petrol as well as CNG powertrain options. It is currently being offered with a maximum discount worth Rs 56,000 that includes cash discounts worth Rs 35,000, corporate discounts worth Rs 6,000 and exchange bonuses worth Rs 15,000. The AMT variants however are offered only with discounts up to Rs 46,000 that include cash discounts of Rs 25,000, corporate discounts worth Rs 6,000 and exchange bonuses of Rs 15,000. It takes on the rivals like Renault Kwid in the Indian market.

Tata Harrier, Safari
Up to Rs 60,000
The new Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari are currently one of the most expensive offerings in the country and take on the rivals like the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector, MG Hector Plus, and other premium SUVs in the country. Both the SUVs are offered up to Rs 60,000 worth of discounts that include Rs 20,000 worth of cash discounts, and an exchange bonus worth Rs 40,000. The recently launched Jet Edition models in the country are offered with an overall discount of rs 40,000. For those wondering, the Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari are only offered with a 2.0L diesel engine that offers a maximum power output of 170 hp.

Volkswagen Taigun
Up to Rs 80,000
The Volkswagen Taigun takes on the rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and the Maruti Grand Vitara. It is currently being offered with two engine options – 1.0L TSi and 1.5L TSI turbocharged petrol engines. The brand is offering the SUV with discounts up to Rs 80,000 that consist of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and loyalty bonuses for the buyers.
