Many new cars including the new Maruti Jimny will be soon launched in the Indian market in the next few months
Multiple new brands like Hyundai, Kia, Maruti, Honda, and Mahindra are gearing up to soon launch new cars in the Indian market in the coming months. If you are also soon planning to buy a new car, here is a list of the top car launched to look out for in India in the coming months.
Upcoming Cars In India
New Hyundai Verna
The new Hyundai Verna next-gen model will be soon launched in the Indian market to take on the rivals like the new Honda City, VW Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and more. This new model will be underpinned by an all-new platform and will boast a new exterior design that will give it a strong road presence. It will also feature a new cabin with many new features and better comfort levels. Powering the new Verna will be three engine options – 1.5L NA petrol, 1.5L diesel, and 1.4L turbo petrol. Needless to say, all these engines will be offered with both manual as well as automatic gearbox options. In addition to this, the new Hyundai Verna is also expected to be offered with new safety features including ADAS safety suite and up to 6 airbags. Hyundai Creta Facelift
The new Hyundai Creta facelift is also expected to be soon launched in the country and will be offered with a new exterior design language, new features, similar engine options, and better safety tech. In addition to this, minor changes might also be made to the cabin and dashboard layout to give it a fresh package. For those wondering, the new Creta facelift will be offered with the same three engine options as the present iteration of the SUV. Other features like 360-degree camera, a large sunroof, steering mounted controls, new fully digital instrument console, automatic climate control, wireless charger, push-button start, front seat ventilation, power seat adjust, etc will be a standard part of the package. Once launched, the new Hyundai Creta facelift will be taking on the rivals like the VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

Kia Seltos Facelift
The Kia Seltos was the first Kia car to be launched in the country and is one of the strongest rivals to other mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The brand will soon be launching the new Kia Seltos facelift in the market with updated exterior design language, new features, refreshed cabin, and new trim options. Just like the present version, the new Kia Seltos facelift will continue to be offered with three engine options that can be had either with manual or automatic gearbox options. Likewise, it will be offered with many new features and better safety tech.

Kia Carnival Facelift
The Kia Carnival is the most expensive model in the brand’s line-up and is positioned as a powerful, comfortable, and premium MPV in the country. The new Kia Carnival facelift made its global debut last year and was earlier showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 in India. This new iteration of the new Carnival will be offered with new features and an updated cabin layout for the users. Powering the new Carnival will be the same 2.0L diesel engine that will be offered only with an eight-speed automatic gearbox option. Having said this, Kia is yet to share the official launch timeline of the new Carnival in the Indian market.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The new Maruti Suzuki Jimny made its Indian debut a few days ago and is regarded as one of the most compact and capable 4X4 SUVs in the market. The brand is yet to launch this new SUV in the country but we expect the new Jimny to be priced from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Jimny is only offered with a 1.5L NA petrol engine that will be offered with both manual as well as automatic gearbox options. The new Jimny will challenge the Thar and the Force Gurkha in the country and will be one of the most affordable off-roaders in the market. More details about the official launch are yet to be known.

New Honda Mid-Size SUV
With SUVs now getting extremely popular, Honda is also working on a new mid-size SUV to take on the rivals like the Hyundai Creta, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. This new SUV will be underpinned by an updated version of the same platform that underpins the Honda Amaze. Powering this new SUV will be the same engine options that power the new Honda City and will be offered with both manual and automatic gearbox options. This new SUV will be offered with a long list of features like automatic climate control, wireless charger, auto-dimming IRVM, push-button start, ventilated front seats, connected car tech, etc.

Honda City Facelift
It’s been a while since Honda City 5th Gen model was launched in the country and is one of the best sedans in the segment. The new Honda City facelift will take on the rivals like the new Hyundai Verna, VW Virtus, and the Skoda Slavia in India. The new Honda City facelift is expected to be offered only with two powertrain options – 1.5L NA petrol engine and 1.5L Atkinson cycle strong-hybrid petrol engine. This new NA petrol engine will be offered with both manual as well as automatic gearbox options. Needless to say, the new Honda City facelift will be offered with a long list of features like a 360-degree camera, a large sunroof, steering mounted controls, a new fully digital instrument console, automatic climate control, wireless charger, push-button start, front seat ventilation, power seat adjust, auto-dimming IRVM, etc.

Mahindra Thar 5-Door
The new Mahindra Thar 5-door SUV is soon likely to make its Indian debut and will be offered with a number of changes including a longer length, a new cabin, better practicality and some new features like a sunroof. More details about the new Thar will soon be shared by the brand. Having said this, the new Mahindra Thar 5-door is likely to be offered with the same engine options, both of which will be offered with manual as well as automatic gearbox options. Needless to say, a 4X4 setup will be a standard part of the package. Once launched, the new Mahidnra 5-door will take on the rivals like the Force Gurkha 5-door and the new Jimny 5-door.
