Kia India is expected to expand its Indian portfolio with the launch of the multiple cars in the country including the new Kia Seltos facelift
Kia India is currently one of the best-selling brands in the country and offers feature-rich, capable, and practical offerings. The brand is soon expected to update its portfolio and is also likely to soon launch new cars and SUVs in the country this year. The Korean carmaker also showcased a number of new products at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2023 and here is a detailed list of all the upcoming Kia Cars in India in 2023 that you should check out.
2023 Kia Seltos Facelift
Kia made its Indian debut with the launch of the Kia SUV which was positioned as a direct rival to the midsize SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and the Nissan Kicks in the market. The Kia Seltos continues to dominate the market and is one of the best-selling SUVs in the Indian market. The Korean carmaker is expected to soon launch the new Kia Seltos facelift in the market for buyers. For starters, the new facelift version of the SUV will be offered with a number of cosmetic updates including a revised front styling dominated by a new front grille, new LED headlights, new bumpers, and more. The side profile will be dominated by new alloy wheels, an upright stance, and dual-tone colour options. Likewise, a number of changes will be seen at the rear of the car. Inside, the new Kia Seltos facelift will be offered with a feature-rich and comfortable cabin with lots of space in the front as well as the second row. The new facelift iteration is also expected to get many new features like a wireless charging pad, a new touchscreen infotainment system, auto-dimming IVRM, a 360-degree camera, an updated instrument console, and more. Just like the present model, the new Kia Seltos is likely to be offered with the same powertrain options – 1.5L Petrol NA, 1.4L Turbo Petrol, and 1.5L Turbo diesel. All these engines will be offered with manual as well as automatic gearbox options. In addition to this, the new Kia Seltos facelift is also likely to be offered with LEVEL 2 ADAS safety suite that consists of features like forward collision warning, blind spot assist, lane keep assists, rear cross traffic alert and more. More details about the official launch in the country however are yet to be shared by the brand.

2023 Kia Carnival
The Kia Carnival is currently the most expensive car in the brand’s line-up and is offered with an extremely premium and feature-rich cabin. The brand is soon expected to launch the new-gen Kia Carnival in the Indian market to take on the rivals like the Toyota Innova Hycross and the Jeep Meridian. The new Kia Carnival was also showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 and is likely to go on sale in the next few months. For those wondering, the new Kia Carnival boasts an updated design language, an all-new architecture, a new cabin, and many new features which were earlier missing from the package. The Carnival however will continue to boast a spacious and feature-rich cabin for the buyers. Furthermore, we will also see features like multi-zone climate control, wireless charging pads, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, and more being offered with the new Kia Carnival. Just like before, we are expecting the brand to offer the Carnival with multiple seating configurations. We might also see better safety equipment when compared to the outgoing models. If reports are to be believed, the new Kia Carnival will continue to be offered with the same 2.2L diesel engine that boasts a peak power output of 200 bhp while the maximum torque output stands at 440 Nm. This engine will only be offered with an automatic gearbox option. For a quick reference, the new Toyota Hycross is offered with two petrol powertrain options – 2.0L NA petrol and 2.0L strong hybrid petrol. More details will be shared by the brand ahead of the launch in the country.

Kia Sorento
The Kia Sorento was also showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 and is likely to make its Indian debut later this year. The Kia Sorento will challenge the rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, the upcoming Nissan X-trail, Jeep Meridian, MG Gloster, and more. The SUV measures 4810mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1700 mm in height. While the brand is yet to share the official launch timeline of the new Kia Sorento in the country, we are expecting it to introduce this new SUV somewhere in the second half of 2023. Speaking of the design, the new Kia Sorento boasts a premium and bold exterior styling which is complemented by an aggressive front fascia and a tall and upright stance. The rear profile is similar and is largely dominated by large taillights and a bulky rear bumper. Inside, the new Sorento SUV boasts an elegant and feature-rich cabin with a dashboard layout that might remind you of the Kia Sonet. More details including the powertrain options and the launch price are yet to be shared by the brand in the country.
