For those wondering, while Maruti sold a total of 18592 units of the Baleno in February 2023, only 18412 units of the Swift were sold in India while a total of 18114 units of the Alto found buyers in the country last month. This engine churns out a peak power output of 89.7 PS and a maximum torque output of 113 Nm. This engine is offered with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. The premium hatchback is also offered with a 1.2L CNG engine that delivers 77.4 PS of peak power and 98.5 Nm torque in the CNG mode. The CNG engine is only offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox only.
